So What is Yoga?
YOGA, derived from the sanskrit word YUJ, literally mean Union.

DID YOU KNOW?
Babies do yoga! If you watch a baby playing, you may recognize classic yoga positions like cat stretch and downward dog!
Though many think of yoga only as a physical exercise where people twist, turn, stretch, and breathe in the most complex ways, this aspect is just one of the many dimensions of this profound science. Yoga, ultimately, is a guide to unfolding the infinite potential of the human mind and soul.
DID YOU KNOW?
You can do yoga at any age, and at any level of fitness.

Sukshma means subtle. Sukshma Yoga is that which penetrates subtle levels. This ancient, less known form of yoga relaxes and rejuvenates the whole body.

Remember those school lessons on how the sun makes life possible on this planet? Now, it’s our turn to express gratitude. Surya Namaskar comprises of 12 yoga postures that keep the body in shape and the mind calm and healthy.

Yoga is not about touching your toes, or stretching 98 degrees to your north-east. It’s a simple process of integrating your mind, body and breath. Enjoy this expertly guided sequence of yoga postures and enjoy the stretch.

Learn Pranayama, the art of effective breath control. Practicing proper techniques of breathing can induce more oxygen and help control prana - the vital life energy. Pranayama along with Yoga asanas purify mind and body to deep levels.

Sometimes, even if the body is made very comfortable, the mind is often restless. Meditation allows us to find a few minutes of calm and stillness amidst inevitable flux in our lives.

The art of Yoga comes down from centuries of knowledge by Maharishis and Yogis. This brief fun, fact filled session about Yoga, will liberate your mind and keep you awed even hours later!

Shake your hips and enjoy the music as our bands resonate uplifting, feet tapping and soul moving music!
